Innovation in the service of sustainable economic development

The Institute of Business Information Systems is closely related to the degree course of the same name and is active in the fields of information systems, software engineering, business process management and e-services. The Institute carries out applied research and development projects that focus on practical applications and strong innovation potential. These projects are partly financed by Innovation Promotion Agency (CTI).

The Institute also promotes knowledge and technology transfer between universities and the economy, develops an interdisciplinary approach and strengthens the international collaboration by participating in European and world-wide research programmes.
